Seven Healthcare are seeking a dedicated Cath Lab Technologist with expertise in Electrophysiology for a rewarding travel assignment in Hyannis, MA. The role involves working in a Cath Lab environment, where you will provide quality care and assist physicians in interventional procedures. This position requires a tech with experience in both Cath Lab and Interventional Radiology.

Key Responsibilities of the Cath Lab Technologist:

• Assist physicians in all aspects of invasive procedures, including scrubbing, circulating, monitoring, and recording hemodynamic parameters.
• Operate interventional and other equipment during diagnostic procedures.
• Care for the physical and psychological needs of patients during procedures to ensure their safety and comfort.
• Transfer patients onto medical equipment and coordinate work to maximize productivity.
• Set up sterile trays and handle post-procedure clean-up.
• Participate in professional development and maintain department inventory.
• Perform preventative maintenance and cleanliness of interventional equipment.

Requirements of the Cath Lab Technologist:

• RT (Rad Tech) License
• Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) Certification
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification
• Intra-aortic Balloon Pump (IABP) Course
• Associate's degree in Cardiovascular Technology or related field, or equivalent work experience
• Experience in a Cardiac Cath Lab or Interventional Radiology
