Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking Cardiac Cath Lab Technologists for exciting travel opportunities with a respected healthcare system on Cape Cod, Massachusetts. This role offers competitive weekly compensation, a collaborative Cath Lab environment, and the opportunity to work alongside experienced cardiologists performing advanced cardiac and vascular procedures.

    • 8-Hour or 10-Hour Shifts
    • Start Times: 7:00 AM, 8:00 AM, or 9:00 AM
  • 40 Hours Per Week
  • Rotating On-Call Coverage Required
    • Nights
    • Weekends
    • Holidays
  • Charting System: EPIC
Compensation
  • Travel Pay Package:
    Up to $3,921/Week
Responsibilities
  • Assist cardiologists during diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures
  • Scrub and support procedures including angioplasty, stent placement, and peripheral vascular interventions
  • Prepare and maintain Cath Lab equipment and supplies
  • Monitor patients throughout procedures and assist with patient care
  • Operate specialized imaging and diagnostic equipment
  • Maintain accurate documentation and procedural records
Qualifications
  • Minimum 1 Year of Cardiac Cath Lab Experience Preferred
  • Graduate of a CAAHEP or ASCP/SCP Accredited Program Preferred
  • Bachelor's Degree in Biology, Anatomy, Physiology, or Related Field Preferred
  • ACLS Required
  • PALS Required if required by facility
  • BLS/CPR Certification Required
  • Ability to wear lead protection during procedures
  • Strong knowledge of cardiac and vascular interventions

Assists physicians with diagnosing and treating cardiac and peripheral vascular disease and cardiac arrhythmias in the Cath/EP Lab. Specializes in the care of patients undergoing PTCA, stent placement, IABP placement, EP devices and ablations. The Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist functions as a technical resource and provides scrub assistance to cardiologists in the performance of diagnostic and therapeutic interventional cardiac and peripheral vascular procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Graduate of CCAHEP or ASCP/SCP accredited program preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred in biology, anatomy, physiology, or a related field
    • At least 1 year of experience in Cardiac Cath Lab preferred.
  • ACLS/PALS per contract requirements.
  • Current CPR if applicable
  • TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
  • Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
