Branch Manager IV Hyannis Branch

We are looking for an experienced Branch Manager IV who will lead a Retail Banking branch, drive sales, provide world‑class service, and maintain operational integrity.

• Sets sales and service standards and coaches staff to achieve them.
• Develops and maintains lobby management and customer outreach efforts.
• Ensures each customer receives a world‑class experience across all channels.
• Builds and nurtures external network and generates referrals via BNI, Chamber, Linked In, etc.
• Manages branch operations with controls, regulatory compliance, and budget oversight.
• Promotes technology and self‑service channels to customers.
• Identifies, reports, and resolves customer issues promptly.
• Selects, hires, and develops quality staff, coaching through observations and joint sales calls.
• Exemplifies core values, diversity, professionalism, and ethical behavior.
• Assumes additional duties as assigned by Senior Management.

• Ranked in the top third of overall profitability/contribution for existing retail branches.
• Able to maintain operational integrity in complex retail banking environments.
• Skilled in hiring, training, and motivating staff to deliver results.
• Proven ability to build brand awareness and a strong book of business in new markets.
• Experience managing and growing Business Hub branches.
• Excellent outbound calling, prospecting, and networking skills.
• Strong community leadership and referral network.
• Deep understanding of the competitive landscape for Business Hub or De Novo locations.
• Demonstrates genuine desire to serve customers and staff with empathy.
• Visible community presence and brand building.
• Recommended by District Manager and approved by SVP of Retail Administration.
• Responsible for approximately $100 million deposits and $1 million+ contribution (Treasury Branch Contribution Report).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Thorough understanding of sales and service organization requirements.
• Coaches and mentors employees regularly.
• Produces sales excitement and tracks performance.
• Effectively resolves customer inquiries and issues.
• Values diversity and is punctual, reliable, and professional.
• Capable of transporting up to 50 pounds.
• Must complete Teller Training (exam) after hiring.

• Normal office duties with long periods of standing and continuous customer contact.
• Flexible to support a 6‑7 day branch schedule as needed.
• Must lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

• College degree in business, finance, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 2 years of retail banking or retail sales management experience.
