Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Healthcare - Clinical

Responsibilities:

• Supervise nursing assistants and ensure compliance with current regulations and standards.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring accuracy and proper documentation.
• Monitor and document patient conditions, vital signs, and responses to care.
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to plan and implement care plans.
• Assist with admissions, transfers, and discharges, maintaining accurate and thorough records.
• Provide professional services such as catheterization, tube feeding, wound care, and laboratory sample collection.
• Support residents' dietary needs and consult with dietary supervisors as needed.
• Participate in inspections, quality assurance programs, and facility initiatives.
• Educate patients and family members on health care practices.
• Ensure resident confidentiality and adherence to resident rights at all times.

Qualifications:

• Completion of an accredited LPN program and active LPN license in the state.
• Current BLS/CPR and AED certification.
• Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
• Knowledge of nursing and medical procedures, as well as relevant laws and regulations.
• Patience, tact, and a commitment to fostering a positive care environment.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and meet physical/sensory requirements of the role.

Schedule:

• 24 hours per week
• Evening shifts: 3 PM – 11 PM (rotating weekends and holidays)
