This is a hands-on nursing role ideal for nurses who enjoy patient education, one-on-one care, and working in community settings.
What You’ll Do
- Perform lower extremity and foot health assessments
- Provide advanced nail care (including thickened nails)
- Provide skin care recommendations and education
- Perform circulation-enhancing foot care techniques to assist with improve balance
- Educate consumers and caregivers on prevention and wellness
- Collaborate with consumers’ healthcare teams
- Document care and maintain clinical standards in our Electronic Records System
An ideal candidate has Homecare experience, experience working with older adults, strong critical thinking abilities, a genuine curiosity and love of learning, and a flexible and focused problem-solving mindset.

- Current Registered Nursing license

- Enjoy driving and working in a variety of settings
Paid Training Period
Prior to certification, Foot Care by Nurses provides extensive training.
- Training Pay: $30/hour
- Training Length: Up to 2 weeks (approximately 40 hours total)
- Goal:
Prepare nurses to achieve CFCS Certification. We'll pay for the test too!
Once certified, fully trained, and consistently managing an independent schedule of 6-8 consumers per day and fulfilling your monthly commitment:
- $42 – $52 per unit completed
