Overview

Maplewood Senior Living provides a home‑like, luxury environment for residents, encouraging a safe and supportive community. We are looking for a Wellness Nurse (RN or LPN) to join our team in Brewster and work part‑time overnight shifts.

Responsibilities
  • Assist the Resident Services Director with the implementation, delivery, and coordination of Resident Care Services.
  • Supervise Resident Services Department associates, including C.N.A.’s (Resident Services Assistants).
  • Assist with medication program supervision and support residents with self‑administration of medication.
  • Maintain positive relations with residents, families, and physicians.
  • Report significant incidents and changes in resident needs to the Executive Director or Resident Services Director.
  • Assist in the completion of resident assessments and service plans.
  • Conduct clinical assessments and recertifications per state requirements.
  • Support the Resident Services Director in hiring and performance management within the department.
  • Assist with training, orientation, and continuous education of new associates.
  • Attend and participate in scheduled in‑service programs, training sessions, and associate meetings.
  • Help schedule and staff Resident Services Assistants as needed.
  • Provide coaching and mentoring to department associates.
  • Support residents and families to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Supervise RSA staff during care provision.
Qualifications
  • RN or LPN licensed in the state of Massachusetts.
  • Experience in assisted living or long‑term care settings.
  • Basic First Aid and CPR certification.
  • Passion for working with seniors and a strong sense of empathy.
