Under the direction of Dr. Paul Flashner and Dr. Danielle Shanley, the group is staffed by experienced Nurse Practitioners, Registered Nurses, and Medical Estheticians who are leaders in minimally invasive, non-invasive procedures and advanced skin care.
Clinicians train directly under Dr. Flashner and Dr. Shanley, hold advanced certifications in state-of-the-art injectable, laser, and other non-invasive technologies. The team designs customized aesthetic care plans that integrate laser, injectable, and technology-based treatments to achieve natural-looking, personalized results.
The Physician Assistant – Aesthetic Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Hyannis, Seekonk and other southeastern MA locations. This role is responsible for performing non-invasive aesthetic procedures, including injectable treatments, laser therapies, and other skin and wellness focused services in accordance with established clinical protocols. The individual will conduct comprehensive consultations, develop personalized treatment plans, and provide ongoing follow-up care to support safe and effective outcomes.
Day-to-day responsibilities include assessing patient needs, documenting treatments, maintaining high standards of infection control and safety, and collaborating closely with physicians and other clinical team members. The role also involves educating patients on treatment options, post-care guidelines, skincare regimens, and contributing to a professional, respectful, and patient-centered environment.
- Current Physician Assistant licensure in the state of Massachusetts and certification in good standing.
- felxibility to travel between locations in southeastern MA.
- Clinical skills in patient assessment, treatment planning, and delivery of non-invasive aesthetic procedures (e.g., injectables, laser therapies, skin rejuvenation treatments).
- Knowledge of cosmetic dermatology, skincare products, and evidence-based aesthetic treatment protocols.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to conduct consultations, educate patients, and provide compassionate, patient-centered care.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team of physicians, nurse practitioners, nurses, and medical estheticians.
- Commitment to ethical practice, safety standards, infection control, and accurate clinical documentation using EMR systems.
- Prior experience in aesthetic medicine, dermatology, or plastic surgery settings is highly preferred.
- Flexibility to work a full-time, on-site schedule and adapt to evolving technologies, protocols, and patient needs.
- Ongoing interest in professional development, including advanced training and certifications in aesthetic procedures and devices.
