Seven Healthcare are seeking an experienced RN specialized in the Operating Room (OR) for a rewarding travel assignment in Hyannis, MA. This role involves providing patient care through the complete nursing process in a fast-paced operating environment. The selected candidate will work closely with Nurse Managers and the Department of Anesthesia to ensure high standards of care.

Key responsibilities of the RN – OR – Operating Room include:

• Deliver patient care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
• Administer and monitor patient responses to medications
• Direct and guide patient care, teaching, and activities of ancillary personnel
• Maintain accurate and current patient records
• Demonstrate proficiency in the role of charge nurse and in Computerized Nursing Informatics
• Coordinate daily operating activities of the OR
• Assist in supervision of personnel to ensure quality patient care
• Provide and control materials and supplies for OR operations

Requirements of the RN – OR – Operating Room include:

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing, BSN preferred
• One year OR experience
• Current Registered Nurse license in Massachusetts
• Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) required
• Proficiency in English communication
• Capability to use a lead apron
• Two references within the past two years
• Completion of a skills checklist and competency exam within six months
