Summer Merchandiser

Position Overview

• Pay - $20-$23.50/hr - based on experience
• Job Type: Full-time Seasonal work
• Duration:

  - September (Ability to start sooner)

• Mid Cape Cod, MA:
  Hyannis, Barnstable, Yarmouth, & Marston Mills, MA
• Requirement:
  Own housing and transportation

• Availability:
  Open availability is a must
• Weekends Needed:
  Saturday or Sunday - flexible
• Ability to work on holidays
• Flex start (7:00 am – 3:30 pm; 8:00 am – 4:00 pm; 9:00 am – 5:00 pm)

• Travel daily to local grocery stores and supermarkets in an assigned territory
• Assist with new display setups and reset existing product displays
• Pack grocery orders when needed
• Follow planograms to adjust shelves and move inventory accordingly
• Clean, straighten, and organize shelves
• Remain accountable for completion of work by the assigned due dates

• Store temperature about 65 °F to 75 °F
• Travel/mobility: yes, on the road

• Basic mathematical skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division of whole numbers)
• Ability to manage difficult or emotional customer situations and respond promptly to customer needs
• Willingness to solicit customer feedback to improve service
• Communication skills, including speaking clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations
• Capability to read and interpret written information and comprehend simple instructions
