Job Overview

Cardis Furniture & Mattresses is seeking a Part‑Time Furniture Sales Professional to join our team. The role offers a guaranteed hourly wage of $30–$50 plus a commission incentive program.

• Provide exceptional customer service by greeting patrons promptly, listening to their needs, and offering knowledgeable product recommendations.
• Work toward daily, weekly, and monthly sales goals set by the sales manager.
• Enter all sales orders accurately into the system and verify completeness with the customer.
• Participate in training sessions and company meetings to improve performance.
• Represent the company in the showroom, contributing to a positive and upbeat work environment.
• Use social media, networking, and prospecting to generate additional business opportunities.

• Ability to work a retail schedule that includes nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Previous interior design or sales experience is a plus.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the showroom for 8‑12 hours.
• Strong interpersonal skills and emotional composure in a professional environment.
• Dependable work ethic and general computer proficiency.
• Professional appearance and dress.

The position is performed in a store environment and requires the use of standard office equipment, personal cell phones, and tablets for room sketching. The employee must be able to lift and carry items up to 30 pounds and stand for extended periods.

Schedule:

Days, evenings (8 pm), weekends, and holidays.
