About the Position

Become a delivery driver with US Foods and build a career in the food service industry.

Pay & Benefits

Starting rate is $34.97 per hour. After six months of employment, the rate increases to $39.35 per hour. Eligible new hires receive a $12,500 Retention Bonus.

Schedule

Tuesday ‑ Saturday. Dispatch time 3 am‑6 am; work until deliveries are completed.

Main Ingredients of the Job
  • Safely drive trucks to customers and meet scheduled delivery times.
  • Carefully unload products from the trailer with a two‑wheeler, pallet jack, or by hand and place them in designated customer storage areas.
  • Verify delivery accuracy and obtain proper signatures.
  • Handle collections and payments from customers when applicable.
  • Perform professional customer service to enhance the client experience.
  • Perform all pre‑trip and post‑trip equipment inspections.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull 20 to 80+ lbs. of product repetitively during each shift.
  • Comfortable driving and working in inclement weather with frequent stops (10+ per shift).
What You Bring to the Table
  • Register to the FMCSA Clearinghouse.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Have a valid CDL Class A issued by the state of legal residence with required endorsements and DOT qualifications.
  • Have at least six months of commercial driving experience in any industry or three months in the food and/or beverage delivery industry.
  • Preferably able to operate a manual transmission; may be required for specific locations.
  • Be able to read and communicate in English, hold conversations, understand highway traffic signs and signals, respond to official inquiries, and record information on reports.
