About the Position
Become a delivery driver with US Foods and build a career in the food service industry.
Pay & BenefitsStarting rate is $34.97 per hour. After six months of employment, the rate increases to $39.35 per hour. Eligible new hires receive a $12,500 Retention Bonus.

ScheduleTuesday ‑ Saturday. Dispatch time 3 am‑6 am; work until deliveries are completed.
Main Ingredients of the Job- Safely drive trucks to customers and meet scheduled delivery times.
- Carefully unload products from the trailer with a two‑wheeler, pallet jack, or by hand and place them in designated customer storage areas.
- Verify delivery accuracy and obtain proper signatures.
- Handle collections and payments from customers when applicable.
- Perform professional customer service to enhance the client experience.
- Perform all pre‑trip and post‑trip equipment inspections.
- Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull 20 to 80+ lbs. of product repetitively during each shift.
- Comfortable driving and working in inclement weather with frequent stops (10+ per shift).
- Register to the FMCSA Clearinghouse.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Have a valid CDL Class A issued by the state of legal residence with required endorsements and DOT qualifications.
- Have at least six months of commercial driving experience in any industry or three months in the food and/or beverage delivery industry.
- Preferably able to operate a manual transmission; may be required for specific locations.
- Be able to read and communicate in English, hold conversations, understand highway traffic signs and signals, respond to official inquiries, and record information on reports.
