Senior Accountant, Accounts Receivable Specialist

Senior Accountant/ Analyst/ Auditor – Sr Accountant Accounts Receivable

• Resource to perform extensive research identified through/on AR accounts reconciliations to resolve outstanding issues.
• Detailed and thorough review of customer activity to determine appropriate disposition of the customer’s account
• Position reviews and resolves AR credits/unapplied receipts.
• Resource to review aging AR report to assist with determining disposition of reserve.
• Assist with Bad Debt account reconciliation.
• Resource monitors the ARInquiries mailbox to ensure requests are handled on time.
• Serve as backup for
• Smart Benefits billing and account management
• Monthly journal entries submission.
• Funds Management-related billing.
• Flag customer IDs that do not receive Dunning letters.
• Direct experience in account reconciliations, accounts receivable, and billing.

Qualifications:

Requires a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience and a bachelor’s degree. CPA, CGFM, CMA or CIA is preferred.

Minimum of 2 years' experience at a Senior Accounting/Analyst/Auditor level related to engagements for

financial institutions, real estate, public and/or private sector, Federal, State or Local government or other specialized area defined by a task order
