Entry-Level Audit Assistant

Premier Group Services, Inc. is seeking a full-time Entry-Level Audit Assistant to join our team in Hyattsville, MD. This position offers an excellent opportunity to begin your career in accounting and auditing, with a competitive hourly rate of $17.00 – $22.50

In this full- or part-time role, you will support low- to medium-risk areas of audit and accounting engagements, focusing on learning and adhering to documentation standards by preparing clear and thorough work papers with definitive conclusions. You will draft audit recommendations for client correspondence and the audit file, and you will communicate regularly and professionally with both client personnel and colleagues. Each day will involve contributing to team objectives, managing responsibilities in a fast-paced environment, and occasionally traveling to client sites to provide additional support as needed.

You will gain valuable experience through consistent involvement in the audit process.

This full- or part-time Entry-Level Audit Assistant position is available as full-time, part-time, contract, or 1099
. The role provides flexibility, allowing you to work in-office, onsite, remotely, or in a hybrid capacity. Occasional travel to client sites may be required, depending on engagement needs and client requirements.

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field (rising junior/senior standing or recent graduate)
• Coursework in auditing or accounting principles
• Prior internship experience in auditing, accounting, or a similar field (preferred)
• Excellent computer skills, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint (preferred)
