Elementary Math Tutor

Smart Start Education, LLC seeks an Elementary Math Tutor to support K-8 students with targeted, standards-aligned math instruction. In this mission-driven role, you will provide 1:1 and small-group tutoring focused on foundational skills, problem solving, and test preparation. Working in partnership with schools and districts, you will use formative assessments to identify gaps, tailor lessons, monitor progress, and communicate results to educators and families.

You'll collaborate with a supportive, educator-focused team and may deliver services on-site or online, with training and resources to enhance your instructional practice.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 and small-group elementary math tutoring for K-8 students
• Deliver instruction aligned to state standards and school curricula
• Use assessments to identify learning gaps and track student progress
• Support test preparation and foundational math skill development
• Differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs
• Collaborate with teachers and school staff on student goals
• Maintain accurate records and session documentation
• Communicate progress and recommendations to educators and families
