The Clinical Director provides strategic and operational leadership for Your Wellness Sources’ integrated primary care, nutrition, and wellness service lines. This leader elevates clinical quality, expands patient access, strengthens patient satisfaction, and guides YWS into its next phase of growth. The Clinical Director oversees provider teams and collaborates closely with the Executive Administrative Assistant and Medical Director as part of the Executive Leadership Team.

Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care, including evaluation, diagnosis, chronic disease management, preventive care, minor procedures, and medication management.
- Integrate behavioral health screening and nutrition interventions into care workflows.
- Ensure timely documentation, coding accuracy, inbox completion, and lab follow-up.
- Model excellence in patient-centered communication, access, and continuity.
- Lead and coach primary care, nutrition, and wellness providers; conduct rounding, chart reviews, and competency checks.
- Maintain quality dashboards (preventive care, chronic disease, no‑show rates, documentation timelines).
- Ensure OSHA, HIPAA, and federal/state compliance; support CARF‑aligned standards.
- Oversee provider templates, scheduling standards, and access policies.
- Collaborate with HR/Credentialing on onboarding, CAQH, licensure, and payer enrollment.
- Participate in budget and workforce planning; support staffing justification.
- Maintain SOPs, standing orders, protocols, and training modules.
- Work with Medical Director to enhance referral pathways and integrated service delivery.
- Lead weekly clinical huddles, bi‑weekly provider meetings, and monthly leadership/QI sessions.
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and respect.
- Lead PDSA cycles and implement improvement plans for safety, access, and patient experience.
- Active Maryland NP, PA, or MD/DO license (or ability to obtain before start).
- National certification as applicable.
- Active DEA and Maryland CDS certification (or eligibility).
- Minimum 5 years of progressive clinical experience; leadership experience strongly preferred. DNP preferred.
- EMR proficiency (Epic, Athena One, etc.).
- Demonstrated success in leading teams and improving outcomes.
- Experience in integrated primary care models, including behavioral health and nutrition.
- Experience with CARF or similar accreditation standards.
- Budget literacy and operational decision‑making experience.
- Lean Six Sigma training or certification.
- Strong team‑building and conflict resolution skills.
- Outpatient clinical environment with diverse patient populations.
- Occasional evening or weekend needs.
- Telehealth visits as required.
