* SAIC is seeking a Service Now Architect to join our team at Adelphi, MD

The Service Now Architect will be responsible for conducting or participating in multidisciplinary research and collaborating with equipment designers and/or hardware engineers in the planning, design, development, and utilization of electronic data processing systems software. Determines computer user needs; advises hardware designers on machine characteristics that affect software systems such as storage capacity, processing speed, and input/output requirements; designs and develop compilers and assemblers, utility programs, and operating systems.

Job Responsibilities:

+ Leads the design, development, and implementation of Service Now solutions to optimize IT service management processes.

+ Leads the development of custom applications, workflows, and integrations, ensuring alignment with business requirements and ITIL standards.

+ Responsibilities include troubleshooting issues, performing system upgrades, and maintainingplatform security.

+ Collaborates with stakeholders to gather requirements, provide technical guidance, and ensure seamless functionality.

+ With deep expertise in JavaScript, REST APIs, and Service Now best practices, drive continuous improvement and innovation, enhancing the overall efficiency and effectiveness of IT support services.

** Qualifications*
* Requirements:

+ Bachelor's Degree + Ten (10+) years of experience.

+ Must be a US Citizen

+ Must have an active DoD Secret Clearance.

+ ITIL v4 certification

+ Service Now Certified Application Developer (CAD) or equivalent

+ Outstanding customer service skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.

Preferred:

+ Master's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (preferred)

+ Experience working in a Department of Defense (DoD) environment.

+ A problem solver and troubleshooter who thrives in resolving complex problems.

+ Strong self-starter requiring minimal supervision.

+ Excellent communication skills (written and oral) and interpersonal skills.

Experience with JavaScript, Rest APIs and Service Now

+ Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.

Target salary range: $160,001 - $200,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
