You’ll travel the region defeating invaders of the four‑plus‑legged variety, protecting homes and businesses, and becoming the pest superhero your customers will remember forever. You'll diagnose pest problems, create treatment plans, and deliver service with honesty, empathy, and a smile big enough to charm even a spider – maybe.
The Person We NeedWhat does it take to be a successful technician? For starters, you must be at least 18 years old, enthusiastic, dutiful, dedicated, with an eye for detail and a love for customer service. You also need:
- Ability to safely move about customer locations, ascend/descend stairs and ladders, and position yourself to conduct service under/around furniture, equipment, and tight spaces
- Ability to safely move items and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds
- Ability to work outdoors in all regular seasonal weather conditions
- Technical proficiency with computers, smartphones, etc.
- Held a valid driver's license for at least 3 years with an acceptable driving record
- Ability to read, write, speak, and comprehend English
- Good oral and written communication
- Solid attention to detail
- Legal eligibility to work in the U.S.
- Availability to work a flexible schedule (between 7 a.m. and 6 p.m.)
- Availability to work some weekends
- High school degree or equivalent
