About the Role
We provide skilled nursing care to people recently discharged from the hospital, needing therapy, and those needing long-term care.
What You’ll Do for Our Residents- Administer medications: give oral, topical, IV, injectable medications.
- Wound/Skin Care: perform wound care/prevention, manage pain, apply dressings.
- Monitoring: observe physical and mental health status, track changes and analyze data.
- Clinical Procedure: provide catheter/ostomy care, gather specimens.
- Care Planning: assist in executing individualized care plans.
- Collaboration:
strategize care with physicians, therapists, social workers & others. - Family & Resident
Education:
explain health status, changes and expectations for care. - Documentation: keep a detailed record of health status, all care, progress & interactions.
- Team Oversight: oversee & delegate CNAs ensuring quality care & teamwork.
- Licensed to work within the state of Maryland as an LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse).
- Must pass background check, drug screen, professional references check & physical evaluation.
- Professional & clinically skilled with leadership qualities.
- 1+ year of long-term care experience as an LPN required.
