As the Purchasing Manager, you will execute, maintain and achieve quality and efficiency standards for location‑based purchasing processes and expectations through strong leadership and effective management, supporting organizational priorities and contributing to the strength of the company’s financial position.

• Communicate with key team and management associates regarding purchases consistent with needs and specifications.
• Ensure weekly inventory is correct and no errors before submission.
• Negotiate pricing and purchase goods and ensure delivery in a timely manner.
• Review shipments to ensure products received are consistent with orders.
• Compile monthly reports.
• Work with Excel and Visual Basic to manage inventory.

• Minimum of Associate’s Degree preferred.
• Minimum of three years related experience in the field.
• Full knowledge of purchasing procedures, food, beverage and printing products.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office products and ordering systems.
• Good knowledge of food and inventory trends focused on operations.
• P&L accountability and contract‑managed service experience is desirable.
• Accurate data‑entry skills, computer skills, and thorough organizational ability.
• Knowledge of school nutrition / food industry and/or purchasing strongly preferred.
• Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Outlook, e‑mail and the Internet.
• Serv Safe certification highly desirable.
