Description
Martz is hiring mechanics to join our growing maintenance team! We’re seeking an AA-level master mechanic but will consider applicants with any level of mechanical experience who are eager to grow.
What You’ll Do- Inspect, diagnose, and repair motorcoaches.
- Work on engines, transmissions, electrical, HVAC, and brake/air systems.
- Perform preventive maintenance and safety inspections.
- Use diagnostic tools and OEM software to troubleshoot issues.
- (AA Level) Mentor junior mechanics and support shift operations.
- Mechanical experience (diesel, truck, bus, or automotive).
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong safety focus and ability to work in a team.
- CDL with Passenger Endorsement, inspection certification, and HVAC/refrigerant certifications preferred for higher classifications.
- Competitive pay based on skill level & certifications.
- Career progression through Martz’s mechanic classification ladder (B ? A ? A+ ? AA).

- Pay Rate $25.06to $37.26/hour based on experience and certifications.

Position Requirements- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Three (3) years experience as a mechanic or completion of trade school
- CDL preferred
- DOT Certified
- Obtain and maintain all OSHA required certifications
- Proficiently carry out all levels of preventative maintenance work.
- Maintain and apply knowledge of diesel engines, motor coach transmissions, electronics, HVAC systems, and minor repairs.
- Understand and service air system operations and diagnose component faults.
- Diagnose and service brake system operations and related faults.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize work
- Work in an organized and clean fashion.
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Utilize and care for all shop equipment used for servicing coaches.
- Operate and maintain scanning tools and electronic diagnostic equipment.
- Perform all work in a safe manner
