CDL A Truck Driver & Loading Dock Specialist

Job Title

Prime Response Inc. (PRI) is seeking full-time CDL A Truck Driver and Loading Dock Specialist for a long-term government contract located mainly in Cheverly, MD and sometimes in Arlington, VA.

Main driving duties will include the handling of secure mail and property and cover Alexandria, VA, Washington County, MD, and the National Capitol Region.
· Clean driving record
· Receiving, inspecting, delivering, and loading and unloading trucks
· Understands warehousing processes and systems
· Understands inventory management systems
· Experience with furniture moving
· Ability to use a computer
· Ability to work independently
· Highly dependable and punctual
· Furniture moves and relocations
· Transporting bulk items
· Operating Material Handling Equipment
· Operating the Warehouse Management System Requirements
· Class A CDL and current medical card required.
· Must be capable of passing a background check and drug test.
· Experience with Government contracts is preferred.
· Must have knowledge of warehouse operations and logistics principles.
· Must be able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
· Ability to lift and carrying moderately heavy material (up to 50 lbs).
