Job Summary:

We are seeking a qualified and experienced individual to serve as an External Member on the Internal Committee (IC) of organizations. The role requires advising and participating in redressal of complaints and conducting training programs for employees on POSH.

Key Responsibilities:

Participate in IC meetings and inquiry proceedings as an independent third-party member.
Assist the IC in conducting fair, unbiased, and timely inquiries into complaints of sexual harassment.
Guide the IC on the legal framework of the POSH Act and other relevant laws.
Provide expert insights to ensure compliance with due process and principles of natural justice.
Maintain neutrality and confidentiality throughout the proceedings.
Help draft inquiry reports, recommendations, and compliance documentation.

Qualifications:

LLB / LLM
Experience in handling POSH complaints - Minimum 20 complaints handled.
Experience in social work, women's rights, legal aid, human rights, gender justice, or workplace diversity (additional, preferred).
Fluent with written and spoken English (knowing Hindi and Marathi will be preferred)
Comfortable and experienced with drafting legal opinions, petitions etc.

Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive cases involving trauma and interpersonal conflict.
High ethical standards, integrity, and objectivity.
Clear written and verbal communication skills, including report drafting.
Comfort with digital platforms (for virtual meetings, digital evidence review).
Ability to work methodically and meet deadlines.
Proactive and willing to take ownership.
