Role Overview
As the Manager of Sales, you will be the driving force behind our sales excellence and team growth. We are looking for a seasoned leader who understands the nuances of the luxury interiors market and has a proven track record of managing high-performing teams. You will be responsible for translating business objectives into actionable sales strategies, ensuring that every project—from initial lead to final handover—is executed with flawless precision.
Responsibilities
- Team Leadership & Mentoring:
Directly lead and mentor a team of Sales Executives. You will be responsible for their training, performance tracking, and motivation to hit aggressive monthly and quarterly targets.
- Luxury Sales Management:
Direct the sales process for high-end residential projects, focusing on premium clients who demand superior quality and bespoke modular solutions.
- Strategic Growth:
Lead "Sales Sprints" (e.g., 4
Cr targets) and identify opportunities within premium residential communities to secure multi-unit bookings.
- Pipeline & Revenue Ownership:
Oversee the entire sales lifecycle. You must be adept at handling complex objections regarding timelines, material specifications (Plywood grades, hardware brands), and pricing against competitors.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Work closely with the Head of Projects and Design Teams to ensure that what is sold is technically feasible and delivered on time.
Qualifications
- Industry Expertise:
Minimum 5+ years in the Interior Design or Modular Furniture industry. Candidates from outside this industry will not be considered.
- Leadership
Experience:
A minimum of 3 years leading a sales team. You should be comfortable managing team dynamics, reporting to directors, and making critical decisions under pressure.
- Sales Acumen:
Proven experience in the luxury segment, with the ability to close high-ticket deals and maintain a premium brand image.
- Technical Knowledge:
Strong understanding of modular manufacturing, materials (BWP/BWR Plywood), and hardware (Hettich, Hafele, etc.).
- Bonus Asset: A background or foundational knowledge in Interior Design (AutoCAD, 2D/3D visualization) is a significant plus, as it allows for better technical synergy with clients.
