Key Responsibilities
1. Achieve budgeted net margin month-on-month for the Branch.
2. Control OPEX and ensure alignment with gross margins.
3. Possess knowledge of at least three products out of five (Air Imports / Air Exports / Ocean Imports / Ocean Exports / Customs Clearance).
4. Monitor and manage account receivables with a focus on timely and accurate billing and DSO.
5. Meet personal KPIs and financial targets.
6. Drive yield enhancement across all Lines of Business (LOBs).
7. Ensure smooth functioning of all operations across departments and lines of business.
8. Implement and monitor quality compliance and operational standards.
9. Respond promptly to RFQs and coordinate with overseas partners.
10. Mitigate risks through sound risk management controls and procedures.
11. Drive business development and expand the client base.
12. Conduct regular client visits, generate personal gross margins, and manage key accounts.
13. Lead sales management activities, including reviews, analytics, and target setting for sales teams.
14. Focus on the development of major trade routes and key verticals with structured budgeting plans.
15. Build and maintain strong relationships with carriers for better space allocation and competitive rates.
16. Oversee overall branch management and cross-departmental coordination.
17. Ensure acquisition and retention of quality manpower.
18. Initiate HR and team-building activities to maintain a motivated and engaged workforce.
19. Train and develop staff with a clear focus on succession planning.
20. Define KRAs and job profiles for Assistant Managers and above.
21. Conduct timely and structured performance appraisals linked to measurable outcomes.
22. Ensure clear and effective communication across all staff.
23. Promote a culture of service excellence and regularly monitor CRM performance.
Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, International Business, or related field.
8–12 years of experience in freight forwarding/logistics, with 3–5 years in a managerial role.
In-depth knowledge of air/ocean freight, customs compliance, and documentation.
Proven leadership and team management skills.
Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal abilities.
