AVP - Designs (Mechanical)

It has been enabling over 3,500 customers (including Fortune 500 and ET 500) through various services The company offers its customer’s a host of IT infrastructure services viz: VPS, Data Centre, Disaster Recovery, Managed Services, Mailing services, Back-up, Storage and Cloud
CtrlS has engaged in 200 innovations over the last eight years to introduce new product, service Offering’s including DR as a Service, Cloud (Private, Public and Hybrid) and CDN (Content Delivery Network)
Overview:
CtrlS seeks a Mechanical Design AVP to lead strategic mechanical and HVAC engineering vision across CtrlS datacenter portfolio. Responsible for setting industry-leading standards for mechanical design, building world-class design organization, and ensuring CtrlS maintains position as Asia's premier Tier-4 datacenter operator. Acts as C-suite advisor on mechanical infrastructure strategy and technical innovation.
Requirements & Responsibilities
• Developing and executing strategic vision for mechanical design discipline
• Leading organizational design excellence across CtrlS datacenter portfolio
• Setting mechanical design standards aligned with ASHRAE, TIA-942, Uptime and beyond
• Directing senior management team and building high-performing design organization
• Overseeing mechanical design for all project categories and geographies
• Managing significant design budget and resource allocation
• Supporting board-level discussions on infrastructure strategy and investments
• Building strategic partnerships with industry leaders and technology partners
• Driving innovation in mechanical design and emerging cooling technologies
• Mentoring C-suite talent and developing future design leaders
• Implementing enterprise-wide design excellence initiatives
• Reporting directly to Chief Technical Officer on design performance
• Supporting M&A and business expansion with technical strategy
• Representing CtrlS in industry forums and thought leadership
Education & Experience Credentials:
•
B.Tech/B.E. in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline
• 10+ years of experience in mechanical/HVAC design, project leadership and datacenter operations
• 5+ years of proven director or VP-level leadership experience
• Demonstrated success building and scaling design organizations
• Mastery of ASHRAE, TIA-942 and all international standards
• Advanced expertise across all mechanical design tools and emerging technologies
• Strong strategic business acumen and C-suite experience
• Excellent executive communication and board presentation skills
• Proven track record of organizational transformation and talent development
