About the role
Be the CEO’s right hand in strategy and execution . You will help shape strategic priorities, translate them into company-wide initiatives, and ensure disciplined follow-through. This role blends strategic thinking, operational rigor, and leadership communication to keep the organization aligned and moving forward.
What you will own
1. Strategy formulation & translation
Work closely with the CEO to shape and refine company strategy and priorities.
Break strategy into executable initiatives, quarterly objectives, and measurable outcomes.
Ensure strategic intent is clearly understood and consistently reinforced across teams.
2. Company operating rhythm
Design and run weekly and monthly business reviews.
Build and maintain KPI dashboards across engineering, product, sales, operations, and finance.
Track initiatives, owners, milestones, and outcomes; enforce follow-ups and accountability.
3. Cross-functional execution
Act as a neutral integrator across departments.
Identify misalignment early and drive resolution through data, context, and influence.
Lead special initiatives that cut across teams (new bets, partnerships, internal transformations).
4. Investor & external stakeholder readiness
Own the cadence and quality of investor communications (updates, metrics, narrative).
Maintain a clean, up-to-date data room and leadership metrics pack.
Prepare the CEO for investor, board, and partner interactions with decks and data.
5. Decision support & insights
Build concise analyses to support leadership decisions (prioritisation, resourcing, trade-offs).
Create decision memos, document outcomes, and track execution against decisions made.
6. Culture & leadership communication
Improve clarity, accountability, and trust across the organization.
Reinforce a culture of ownership, growth mindset, and constructive problem-solving.
Ensure teams are not surprised—create predictable communication rhythms.
What success looks like (6–12 months)
Strategy is visible, measurable, and actively executed—not just discussed.
Teams are aligned on priorities and understand how their work ladders up to company goals.
Leadership reviews are data-driven, focused, and outcome-oriented.
CEO spends more time on high-leverage decisions, relationships, and long-term vision
Role evolution & growth
This role is intended as a high-ownership proving ground. As trust is built and impact is demonstrated, it can evolve into leading a vertical, function, or major initiative. Progression is earned through judgment, execution, and the ability to operate independently in ambiguity—not through tenure or titles
Qualification
3–6 years in consulting, venture capital/private equity, founder’s office, business operations, strategy, or structured leadership programs (e.g., FMCG or conglomerate leadership tracks).
Has seen fast-growing organizations from the inside and understands real-world execution.
Comfortable balancing big-picture thinking with detailed follow-through.
Core traits
Strategic thinker with strong execution muscle
Exceptional clarity in writing and communication
Handles ambiguity and pressure with maturity
Empathetic, trusted, and respected across levels
