This full-time on-site role, located in Idaho Falls, , is for an Experienced Audit Staff Accountant. The primary responsibilities include planning and performing audits for a diverse range of clients, preparing financial statements and reports, and ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations. The role also involves identifying opportunities for process improvements, assisting with tax preparation, and collaborating with team members to deliver high-quality client service.
The selected candidate will play a key role in helping clients achieve their financial objectives while maintaining accuracy and compliance.
- Strong knowledge and proficiency in accounting principles, financial reporting, and audit procedures
- Analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail and the ability to interpret and analyze financial data
- Proficiency with accounting software, audit tools, and MS Office applications
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and clients
- Organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field required; CPA certification or candidacy is highly preferred
- At least 2 years of relevant experience in audit in public accounting
- Familiarity with regulatory compliance and industry standards
