The Payroll Administrator is responsible for the accurate and timely administration of payroll for multiple locations while serving as a trusted resource for employees throughout the organization. This position manages and maintains the payroll and related employee administration processes, ensuring payroll accuracy, benefit deduction integrity, regulatory compliance, and exceptional employee support.

The Payroll Administrator is responsible for managing the process, systems, deadlines, documentation, and controls associated with payroll rather than managing the performance of other employees. Success in this role requires strong technical payroll expertise, attention to detail, sound judgment, and a strong commitment to customer service.

Employees at every level of the organization are the customers of the Payroll Department. Every interaction should reflect professionalism, respect, responsiveness, confidentiality, and a genuine commitment to helping employees understand and resolve payroll and benefit-related questions. The Payroll Administrator plays an important role in creating a positive employee experience through accurate, timely, and respectful service.

As a knowledgeable resource within the organization, the Payroll Administrator is expected to train, educate, mentor, and support employees and managers on payroll and related employee administration processes. This includes explaining both how and why processes are completed, providing coaching and retraining when necessary, and working collaboratively within operational constraints while ensuring critical process requirements are completed accurately, compliantly, and on time.

The Payroll Administrator is expected to lead by example through professionalism, accountability, respect, and exceptional customer service.
