Description
Telesolv Consulting is seeking an Administrative Assistant to provide professional administrative, clerical, and office support services in support of a federal client.
This role supports managers and staff by ensuring efficient office operations, accurate documentation, coordination of activities, and compliance with established procedures. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, process-driven environment.
Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative and clerical support to management and staff
- Prepare, format, edit, and maintain correspondence, reports, spreadsheets, presentations, and other documents
- Organize and maintain electronic and physical files in accordance with procedures
- Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence, mail, and communications
- Schedule meetings, reserve conference rooms, and prepare meeting materials
- Coordinate visitor access, meeting logistics, and administrative support activities
- Answer and route phone calls and respond to inquiries using established procedures
- Track action items, assignments, and follow-ups for staff and management
- Assist with data collection, report preparation, and information tracking
- Support timekeeping, travel documentation, and administrative processing as required
- Assist with onboarding/ offboarding paperwork and administrative forms as needed
- Provide support for special projects, ad hoc requests, and time-sensitive tasks
- Serve as backup support to front office, correspondence control, or other administrative staff as needed
- High School Diploma required (Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred)
- Must be a U.S. citizen
- Must be able to obtain and maintain required clearance
- 2+ years of administrative or office support experience (government or regulated environment preferred)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills with attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
