Job SummaryManages and coordinates the administrative operations of an office or organizational unit. Responsibilities include overseeing administrative staff (if applicable), managing office budgets and supplies, supervising facility maintenance and equipment, developing and implementing office procedures, ensuring efficient workflow, managing records and information systems, and serving as a primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders on administrative matters. May also assist with HR-related administrative tasks, travel coordination, and special projects.
Responsibilitiesand Duties
- Manage and coordinate administrative operations of an office or organizational unit
- Oversee administrative staff (if applicable)
- Manage office budgets and supplies
- Supervise facility maintenance and equipment
- Develop and implement office procedures
- Ensure efficient workflow and office operations
- Manage records and information systems
- Serve as primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders on administrative matters
- May assist with HR-related administrative tasks
- May coordinate travel and special projects
- High School Diploma or GED + 5 years of progressively responsible administrative or office management experience
- Equivalency:
Associate s Degree + 3 years of progressively responsible administrative or office management experience; OR Bachelor s Degree + 1 year of progressively responsible administrative or office management experience - Demonstrated knowledge of office management principles, practices, and procedures including budget monitoring, procurement, and vendor management
- Strong abilities in organization, planning, and problem-solving, with the capacity to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
