Position Summary

Under general supervision, supports the Member Resolution Center by providing member service and administrative assistance through phone and digital channels. Performs a variety of operational, records management, and processing functions while helping ensure an efficient and positive member experience.

Schedule:

Approximately 40 hours within a Monday through Friday work week.

Responsibilities
  • Provide member service and departmental support through phone, email, and other communication channels.
  • Research, update, and assist with the resolution of Chex Systems and credit reporting disputes.
  • Process correspondence related to loan, share, and membership closures.
  • Perform payment processing and post recovery payments and departmental checks.
  • Maintain and distribute department mail and correspondence.
  • Scan, index, file, and maintain departmental records and documentation, including repossession and liquidation notices.
  • Assist with records retention processes and ensure required files, records, and reports are maintained accurately.
  • Support account transactions, data entry, research requests, and operational inquiries.
  • Compile, prepare, and distribute month-end and year-end reports.
  • Process and distribute non-sufficient funds (NSF) checks.
  • Order and maintain departmental supplies.
  • Assist with special projects and perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Administrative, customer service, financial services, or office support experience preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word and Excel.
  • Experience with data entry, recordkeeping, and document management.
  • Ability to accurately handle confidential and sensitive information.

Physical Requirements
  • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods while performing office duties.
  • Capability to operate standard office equipment such as computers, calculators, and telephones.
  • Occasionally lift and carry up to 15 lbs., if required for departmental tasks.
