- Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable.

Job goalsTo support the delivery of School District 91’s written, taught, tested and reported curriculum and contribute to maximizing student achievement.
To maintain complete and accurate attendance records for each student so as to assist administrators in minimizing the interruptions and dislocations caused by faulty attendance in the education of each student.
Essential duties and responsibilities- Collects all of the teachers’ attendance information, whether online or on attendance sheets.
- Enters the notes and e-mails received on a daily basis.
- Receives parents’ phone calls for all attendance issues.
- Issues admit slips when receiving excuse notes from parents.
- Issues truancies to students who fail to verify their absences by note or phone call.
- Refers students with questionable absences or truancies to an administrator.
- Files all admittance slips and parents’ notes in the student’s file.
- Makes arrangements for all makeup sessions and enters the data and results of each student’s makeup hours.
This position is scheduled for 8 hours per day, 190 days per year. Benefits will be in accordance with approved Board policy. Wages will be in accordance with the Classified Salary Schedule as a Grade 5 - $16.39 or $17.19 per hour depending on experience.
This is an "at will" position in that the employer or employee may terminate employment at any time, or for any reason consistent with applicable state or federal law. The "employment at will" policy cannot be changed verbally or in writing, unless the change is specifically authorized in writing and expressly approved by the Board of Trustees of District 91.
EvaluationPerformance of this position will be evaluated annually by the Building Administrator in accordance with provisions of the Board’s policy on the evaluation of classified personnel.
This position has been given an overall physical classification of light duty.
