Office Administrator/ Coordinator, Clerical
Idaho National Laboratory is hiring a Contract Administrator to work on the Acquisitions & Contracts Management team. This position is located at the EROB facility in Idaho Falls, Idaho and follows a 9x80 schedule with every other Friday off.
As a Contract Administrator, you will maintain systems and processes that enable efficient research and support contract administration functions.
Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities- Support management and/or organization in completing administrative tasks and assignments, including tracking deliverable deadlines, filing records, creating and editing documents, coordinating task completion, data entry into computer systems, and confirming data.
- Use software to compile and generate reports, statistics, timelines, tables, graphs, correspondence, and presentations.
- Design processes to enhance workflow.
- Maintain filing systems of relevant hard‑copy records, protecting personal and private information (e.g., training, security, contracts, employment, health, safety, radiological, government, human resources).
- Interface with the organization’s internal and external customers, providing quality customer service to meet business needs.
- Relay information to pertinent internal and external stakeholders to support the completion of organizational and/or management deliverables.
- Ensure that necessary materials (documents, reports, flyers, white papers, agendas) are created and distributed to related stakeholders.
- Level 3:
Graduation from high school or equivalent and 4 years related experience. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills in the English language.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
The pay range for this position is $22.93 per hour minimum to $37.82 per hour maximum. Compensation decisions are determined using factors such as education, relevant experience, and other credentials.
Physical RequirementsThe employee is frequently required to stand, walk, sit, bend, operate a computer keyboard or type, handle materials, or reach with hands and arms. The duties require sitting for long periods and the employee must occasionally lift 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Adequate hearing and verbal communication are also required.
The work environment is an office setting with moderate noise.
