What We Do

This position provides support to clearing title by obtaining, researching, processing, and sending appropriate documents for recording to release liens against real property on behalf of internal and external customers. Responsible for processing and organizing a high volume of documents and/or orders, ensuring accuracy and timely completion of tasks.

What You'll Do
  • Provide a wide range of support within assigned area.
  • Follow functional area’s processes and procedures in daily activities, adhere to quality control standards, troubleshoot as needed and recommend suggestions for continuous improvements to overall operations.
  • Prioritize work to meet service level agreements (SLAs) and customer deadlines.
  • Answer phones/respond to emails to process customer orders; respond to internal and external inquiries related to pending recordings or rejected documents.
  • Research property records through county recorder websites.
  • Search for documents through internet websites.
  • Apply recording guidelines when preparing documents for submission.
  • Record documents by mail and electronic filing.
  • Process product line documents as requested by customer.
  • Operate microfilm or other imaging tools for use in the creation of electronic files or archives.
  • Prepare and scan documents/images being converted to electronic/digital format.
  • Prepare weekly/monthly reports.
  • Review, verify, audit, and reconcile information; proofread orders and documents for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with technical and legal recording requirements.
  • Identify, research, and resolve discrepancies, including payoffs, deeds, judgments, lien releases, and subordinations.
  • Maintain ownership of assigned pipeline of orders or documents. Process collateral documents from intake to shipping.
  • Track document and order status end-to-end, including follow-up on outstanding items.
What You'll Bring
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • 1-3 years of experience.
  • Working knowledge of fundamental concepts, practices, and procedures of department; general knowledge of company products.
  • Good interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
  • Establish effective working relationships at the work group level.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
  • Resourceful, organized, and detail oriented.
  • Good customer service skills.
  • Basic math skills.
  • Problem solving skills.
  • Ability to multitask in a deadline-oriented environment.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedural instructions.
  • May need the ability to lift and carry 15 lbs.
