Role Description The Construction Superintendent is a full-time, hybrid role based in Idaho Falls, , with some work-from-home flexibility depending on project needs. This role oversees daily on-site construction activities, coordinates subcontractors and suppliers, and ensures work is completed safely, on time, and in accordance with plans, specifications, and building codes. The Superintendent manages site logistics, conducts inspections, resolves field issues, and communicates regularly with project managers and clients on progress and any changes.
Day-to-day responsibilities include monitoring quality control, enforcing safety protocols, tracking schedules and budgets, maintaining project documentation, and supporting the successful completion of custom home builds.
Qualifications
- Strong construction site management skills, including daily field supervision and coordination of subcontractors.
- Knowledge of construction safety practices and regulations, with the ability to enforce safety standards on site.
- Solid organization skills for managing schedules, documentation, and multiple tasks across evolving project phases.
- Relevant experience in residential or custom home construction, preferably in a superintendent or similar leadership role.
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans, specifications, and building codes.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with clients, trade partners, inspectors, and internal teams.
- Proficiency with basic construction management software, mobile apps, and standard office tools.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to visit and manage job sites in and around Idaho Falls,
