Safely perform a variety of construction duties to assist highway, utility, grade crews or at various on-site plant locations.;
Prepare ground surfaces for road building, remove debris, operate ground compactors, rake dirt, set string markers.;
Set up fencing, barricades, safety cones; prepare manhole covers, openings and water lines.;
Walk behind paver machine to shovel and rake asphalt; level asphalt and dig up manhole covers and water valve boxes.;
Assist with operating equipment if trained; perform plant maintenance; set up traveling plants; assist with flagging and traffic control.
