Salary: 69,400. USD / YEAR
Insupport of the Corporate Safety Director and the Project Superintendent; implements,manages,and monitorsfieldsafety programs, policies, and procedures that meet OSHAcompany, project,and other applicable requirements. Evaluates thesite’sprocedures,facilities,and equipment by conducting inspections to identify unsafe conditions and to implement safeguards and solutions. Ensures thesitecompanywith all current safety regulations and that all employees are aware of safety requirements and are prepared to follow safety procedures. Collects data and reports on all safety and accident events.
ResponsibilitiesTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. - Develop and conduct trainings on OSHA regulations and company policies.
- Perform job site analysis, determine employee exposure, and institute safe work procedures.
- Conduct daily safety inspections, document findings, and implement corrective actions.
- Maintain all site required documentation related to safety issues,i.e.,accident reports, inspection reports , training logs.
- Conduct accident investigations and facilitate thereturn-to-work program.
- Administrate the company’s Substance Abuse Program.
- Write various correspondences to customers & owners on matters of importance per direction of project leadership.
