Summary (100‑200 words):
This position requires learning and applying knowledge of the terms and conditions of the 2‑10 warranties to accurately advise and educate builder/members, homeowners and others of the responsibilities and obligations under the warranty. As an Enrollment Underwriter you will apply your knowledge, attention to detail and problem‑solving skills to ensure compliance requirements are met with moderate supervision. You will have the opportunity to take on a variety of responsibilities and the ability to grow within the organization.
- Ensure exceptional customer service to internal and external customers with moderate supervision.
- Accurately enter and process basic enrollment forms into the system and validate all information.
- Audit basic home enrollments to verify risk management and eligibility requirements are met and ensure all information is complete and accurate.
- Identify and resolve inadequate applications and associated revenue by performing follow ups through written and oral communication within required time frames.
- Ensure that Service Level Agreements and deadlines are met by coordinating and following up with all necessary parties.
- Manage basic assigned SharePoint tasks by administering the enrollment underwriting process, which includes researching facts and gathering documentation necessary to ensure all standards and requirements for the enrollment have been met by Builder/Seller to complete enrollment.
- Document all customer interactions in a clear, concise and informative matter.
- May assume other duties as applied.
- Excellent data entry skills with the ability to accurately and efficiently enter data into applications and confirm all information is accurate.
- Possess critical thinking skills to analyze and negotiate a resolution with experience in resolving highly escalated situations.
- Strong ability to multi‑task and manage competing priorities.
- Methodical in approach and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to apply problem solving skills to complex situations.
- Organized with a strong work ethic and enjoys working in a team environment.
- Must have proficient computer skills working in Word, Excel, and Outlook.
