Position Overview

Want to live in a gorgeous active community with lots of design opportunities? L Interiors is an award winning high‑end residential design studio located in Sun Valley, Idaho. The Junior Designer will attend construction site visits, in‑office vendor presentations, weekly design presentations, and Interiors Studio meetings. The role includes working with Revit, AutoCAD/Archi

CAD, Adobe Creative Suite, or hand sketching to produce working and presentation drawings, assisting with research and selection of furniture and finishes, and maintaining the sample library.

Responsibilities
  • Support Designers with all aspects of project work including conceptual, design development, and construction documentation.
  • Organize and update the sample library, including price lists, electronic database, and physical samples.
  • Assist Designers through all project phases with the goal of eventually managing and maintaining projects independently.
  • Conduct research for materials, furniture, and photographic images via hardcopy and online searches.
  • Download and edit images for use in Revit, Photoshop, or InDesign presentations.
  • Communicate with vendors via telephone and face‑to‑face meetings, researching pricing, spec sheets, and stock checks.
  • Perform errands such as picking up/delivering samples, mock‑ups, and other materials between locations and the L Interiors office.
Requirements
  • Interior Design: 2+ years of experience preferred.
  • Full‑time position.
  • Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), and Windows‑based software.
  • Strong conceptual, communication, and organizational skills.
  • General knowledge of current furniture, materials, and building finish products.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, assertive and clear with vendors.
