Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Idaho Falls, , for a Bus Aide. The Bus Aide will assist in ensuring the safety and well-being of students during transportation to and from school, as well as on field trips. Responsibilities include supervising children on the bus, assisting students with special needs, ensuring compliance with safety protocols, and managing student behavior during transit.

The Bus Aide will work closely with the driver and school staff to maintain a safe and orderly environment for all passengers.

Qualifications
  • Strong Communication skills to effectively interact with students, parents, and staff.
  • Experience with Training or assisting children, particularly in a school or childcare setting.
  • Knowledge or experience in Special Education and working with children with diverse needs.
  • Ability to understand and apply safety protocols, including the use of restraints when necessary.
  • Patience, empathy, and reliability to work with young learners.
  • Basic understanding of behavior management techniques is a plus.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
