Practical Nursing Instructor – Part Time Days

• Ensure class attendance and grades are recorded and submitted.
• Assist with strategic planning and assessment of instructional initiatives to ensure program quality.
• Plan and implement orientation of new faculty in both theory and clinical facilities.
• Utilize adult learning principles in teaching.
• Continuously improve quality of instruction.
• Apply online activities to enhance course content during interactive teaching.
• Maintain student attendance records, skill check‑off forms, and assist with program data collection.
• Submit required program reports and forms to the program director in a timely manner.
• Keep current with new technologies and safety regulations.
• Participate in committee activities that support the nursing program mission.
• Attend faculty meetings.
• Plan and supervise student clinical experience in assigned health‑care facilities.
• Evaluate student performance in relation to clinical learning outcomes per Unitek policies.
• Provide immediate feedback on clinical performance or specific events following observation.
• Ensure clinical assignments meet student and facility needs.
• Select best methods to observe, instruct, and evaluate students.
• Verify clinical facilities meet health and safety requirements for Unitek students.
• Provide student access to ongoing communication via office hours, electronic communication, and other methods.
• Participate in student advising activities.

• BSN degree.
• At least 3 years experience as an RN in the field.
