  • Support the design, analysis, and documentation of nuclear piping systems under ASME Section III Class 1, 2, 3, A, or B requirements.
  • Conduct pipe support evaluations, thermal expansion assessments, and seismic/operating load analyses.
  • Interface with cross-functional teams including structural, thermal, and system design engineers.
  • Prepare calculation packages, analysis reports, and design documentation for regulatory and quality reviews.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of piping design standards and design review processes.
Required
  • B.S. or M.S. in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in pipe stress analysis and piping system design.
  • Proficiency with ASME B31 codes (B31.1/B31.3).
  • Working knowledge or experience with ASME Section III piping design preferred.
  • Familiarity with design documentation and QA processes in regulated industries (e.g., nuclear, oil & gas, aerospace).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Residency is required.
Preferred
  • Experience with nuclear safety‑related or safety‑significant piping.
  • Knowledge of Code Case N-755 (for HDPE piping) and Code Case N-122.
