This position is located in the greater Idaho Falls, . Flexibility between multiple active construction sites may be required.
Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, accounting, finance, or related field.
- Relevant work experience in lieu of degree considered.
- At least 10+ years of relevant experience.
- This role may require a facility‑specific clearance that requires U.S. Citizenship to obtain.
- Demonstrated ability to plan, organize, perform, review, and present planning and scheduling products independently with minimal supervision using a high level of professional judgment and knowledge related to engineering, procurement, and construction practices.
- Previous Earned Value Management System experience.
- Previous Nuclear or DOE experience.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Motivated, detail‑oriented, and flexible.
- Ability to direct and manage a team to achieve project goals.
- Strong knowledge of Primavera P6 with a strong understanding of scheduling fundamentals.
- Ability to work under pressure and with minimal supervision.
- Proficient with reporting tools such as Power BI, Excel, and other tools.
- Previous experience managing project controls teams.
- Flexibility to respond to urgent project requests and/or changing priorities.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Teams, Outlook).
- Manage project controls teams on multiple project sites including project controls engineering, schedulers, cost analysts, and discipline focused Advanced Work Packaging Planning team.
- Mentor junior project controls engineers, schedulers, and cost analysts.
- Complete all work in compliance with site specific certified Earned Value Management System.
- Analyze project reporting and provide correct actions to mitigate project risk.
- Integrate cost and schedule data/baseline with the company’s enterprise system to facilitate project financial goals, or oversee this effort.
- Lead effort for tracking budget, project costs, labor hours, schedule updates, installed quantities, and progress measurements for work to include direct hire and subcontracted work.
- Maintain the planning/scheduling updates, applying engineering, procurement, and construction terminology, concepts, and relationships. Develop and maintain critical path logic networks and bar charts.
- Analyze, evaluate, and forecast current estimate status against an established baseline schedule. Assess the impacts of design or construction changes and schedule delays. Report schedule status to all levels of project and company management as well as to the client.
- Prepare reports, graphs, and charts to communicate project status.
- Support the Project team with the change control management process. Support project with pricing and determining schedule impact of change orders.
- Perform critical path and time impact analysis to document current conditions and change management on the project.
- Analyze work progress and craft productivity reports, use this analysis to update project forecast.
- Regular, reliable attendance.

$172,000/yr - $180,000/yr (actual compensation is subject to variation due to such factors as education, experience, skillset, and/or location).
