EBR- Tour Guide Internship Summer at Idaho National Laboratory

Idaho National Laboratory is looking for a vocational/technical college student, or university undergraduate student to be a tour guide at the Experimental Breeder Reactor-I Atomic Museum. The facility is a National Historic Landmark where usable electricity was first generated from nuclear energy in 1951 and is the only place in America to see four nuclear reactors, including two aircraft nuclear propulsion prototypes, a reactor control room and much more.

Reporting to the Labwide Communication Services team, you will welcome guests and give tours of the world's first nuclear power plant.

This team works onsite at the Experimental Breeder Reactor-1 Central Facilities Area. This position will require working some weekends/holidays.

• Undergraduate student enrolled full time at an accredited college/university studying Communications, History, Education, Public Relations, or closely related field.
• Experience or coursework in Communications (writing, presentations, editing).
• A minimum overall 3.0 GPA.
• Authorization to work in the U.S. (including CPT and OPT).

• Unofficial Transcripts (include current and completed degree programs).
• Current class schedule and number of credits.

• Undergraduate Internships ($26.16/hour - $31.47/hour)
• Masters Internships and PhD Internships Pre-Candidacy ($32.87/hour - $35.26/hour)
• PhD Internships Post-Candidacy ($35.95/hour - $38.41/hour)
• Eligible interns are provided paid holiday time off, and many of our internships offer travel reimbursements.
• Multi-Level: This is a multi-level posting and you will be placed at the appropriate level dependent on degree field and level of education.
