Overview Omega Technical Services is seeking a highly motivated Project Manager to support ongoing operations in Idahofalls.

This position is contingent upon contract award and/or project funding. Candidates may be identified, screened, and submitted prior to award. Employment offers and start dates are dependent upon successful contract award, funding authorization, and client approval. This individual will support the efforts to plan project scope, identify and organize resources,and execute work for this project. This positon will function primarily as a work package manager, assisting the Sr.

Manager/Control Account Manager with planning, monitoring and reporting, and providing technical oversight. Experience required includes background with applying management and engineering principles to the design, modification, and operation of a test and processing facility in Idahofalls. Responsibilities
* Develop and review project plans and proposals and collaborate with management to determine project objectives.
* Identify project priorities by determining the phases and elements of the project. Calculate time frames and sequence the stages of the project
* Prepare and manage project budgets, including materials, labor, and other associated costs.
* Coordinate with different teams and professionals, such as contractors, business support services, and engineers to ensure all parties are aligned with the project objectives.
* Identify project risks, including analyzing and managing technical risks.
* Monitor project progress to ensure it is staying on schedule and within budget. Make adjustments as necessary to ensure the successful completion of the project.
* Communicate project progress to management and stakeholders as required or requested through reports and presentations.
* Oversee the troubleshooting and problem-solving process that will address project needs and issues that may impact project success.
* Responsible for organizing and archiving project documentation, including keeping detailed project notes and records. The Project Manager will be specifically responsible for developing project-specific documentation (such as schedules, cost estimates, project management and engineering documentation, and compliance strategies). The individual will develop project documentation as required by DOE directives and company standards and procedures. Additionally, work duties will require being directly involved with the project activities and will require routine field work and interactions with management, support organizations, and stakeholders.

Education Requirements Bachelor's degree + 5 years of directly applicable experience (preference for project management and engineering related education/experience) Qualifications
* Candidate must be a U.S. Citizen.
* Satisfactory results of a pre-employment screening, which includes a drug and breath alcohol test, along with a Motor Vehicle Record check.
* Candidate must be able to obtain and maintain a DOE Security Clearance.

Preferred Qualifications
* Experience working at a DOE facility and familiarity with DOE orders and requirements, specifically DOE O 413.3B and DOE-STD-, DOE-STD-1073, and DOE-STD
- * Must also have experience interfacing with multiple support organizations (internal and external) as well as with DOE and various stakeholders (U.S. EPA, Tribal Nation, and the public).
* Possession of an active DOE/DoD clearance within the past two (2) years is preferred.
* Previous DOE/NNSA work experience.
* Excellent problem solving, interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to juggle simultaneous duties and priorities with limited direction and supervision are fundamental requirements for this position.
* Ability to work effectively to short deadlines with rapidly changing priorities and work effectively with individual contributors and management.
* Strong communication skills, specifically with writing technical and project documentation. Work Schedule 4/10's (10 hours/day; four days per week). Why Omega Technical Services?
