As a Nuclear Equipment & Process Engineer, you’ll support critical work in preparing, installing, and maintaining complex systems for fuel handling and examinations. The Naval Nuclear Laboratory is the prime government contractor tasked with supporting all aspects of the nation’s Naval Nuclear Propulsion Program. The Naval Reactors Facility is one of many locations that supports that mission. The Engineering Department develops and maintains equipment, processes, and procedures for managing and processing spent naval nuclear fuel. and join a multi-disciplined team at the Naval Reactors Facility, managing spent naval nuclear fuel now and into the future!

Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university in a related technical, engineering or science field and a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience; or Masters degree from an accredited college or university in a related technical, engineering or science field and a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience; or Currently an Intermediate Reactor Training Engineer, Refueling Engineer, or Field (RPCO) Engineer at the Company.

• Degree(s) in electrical, mechanical, or nuclear engineering
• 3.2 GPA or higher in undergraduate and/or graduate degree coursework.
• Microsoft Office Proficiency
