Transportation Professional Engineer- Project or Program Manager

is seeking a Professional Transportation Engineer to join our Engineering & Design team. As part of our employee-owned, collaborative culture, you will lead planning, design, and delivery of roadway, intersection, and multimodal transportation projects across the Inland Northwest and Intermountain West. Responsibilities include traffic operations analysis, geometric design, reports and plans preparation, coordination with agencies and stakeholders, and mentoring junior staff.

Responsibilities

• Plan and design roadway, intersection, and multimodal transportation projects
• Perform traffic operations and safety analyses using industry-standard tools
• Prepare engineering reports, plans, specifications, and cost estimates
• Coordinate with municipal, state, and regional transportation agencies
• Manage project tasks, schedules, and budgets with limited supervision
• Support public involvement efforts and present technical information clearly
• Ensure designs comply with applicable codes, standards, and best practices
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary internal teams and external stakeholders
• Mentor and support junior engineers and technicians
• Contribute to quality control and continuous improvement of design processes
