Electrical Power Distribution Engineer

Hukari Ascendent is a Women-Owned, Small Business specializing in comprehensive engineering and technical support services associated with commercial nuclear power and other Department of Energy (DOE) nuclear activities.

Hukari Ascendent is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to support power distribution system design, analysis, and engineering activities. This is a direct-hire, full-time position on a 4x10 work schedule. No per diem or travel is required for this role.

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
• 5+ years of experience working with power distribution systems
• Strong knowledge of electrical distribution system design, protection, and coordination
• Proficiency with electrical engineering analysis software (e.g., SKM, ETAP, or similar)
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment

• Experience conducting Arc Flash studies (preferred, not required)
• Professional Engineer (PE) license
• Experience in the nuclear power or DOE industry
• Full-time position on a 4x10 work schedule
• No per diem or travel required
