Allegheny Science & Technology (AST) is seeking a Contract Specialist to support our Department of Energy (DOE) customer in Idaho Falls, Idaho! The Contract Specialist will provide specialist administrative and technical support to the Contracting Officers (CO's) and other contract management personnel.
Duties & Responsibilities- Preparing, routing, and distributing contract‑related correspondence.
- Maintaining contract modification records.
- Preparing various reports for managers.
- Assisting with annual financial assistance awards.
- Providing IDMS support.
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field and minimum of four (4) years relevant experience; additional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- Strong understanding of federal contracting processes and FAR principles (especially Parts 4, 13, 15, 16).
- Excellent organizational and document management skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and federal acquisition systems (e.g., IDMS, STARS).
- U.S. Citizenship is required.
