Job Summary And Qualifications

As a CT Technologist, you will work with our friendly interventional radiologists assisting with various types of biopsies, drain place placements, aspirations, injections, cry ablations, and microwave ablations. There are always opportunities to learn new things and be challenged in your career. Members of that team consider themselves a family where each member works hard to support each other. We are looking for someone who feels patient care is as meaningful as we do.

In this role:

  • You will administer both oral and IV contrast; evaluate patients for any allergic reactions; place correct IV for the exam being performed.
  • You will be loading and operating Med Rad power injector.
  • You will operate and understand CT scanning equipment; practice ALARA standards; understand physician protocols and scan appropriately.
  • You will be assisting interventional radiologists with procedures.
  • You will be maintaining a clean work environment and stocking the department with supplies and linens.
  • You will be moving, lifting, and assisting patients on to and off the scanner table.
Qualifications
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 7 days of employment start date
  • (ARRT-R) Radiography
  • (ARRT-CT) Computed Tomography, or (CT) Computed Tomography

Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center (EIRMC) is a full‑service hospital with 318+ patient beds. Our hospital is the largest medical facility in the region. We serve southeast Idaho, western Wyoming, Yellowstone National Park, and parts of Montana. Our facility has an ER, a Level II Trauma Center, a Level 1 ICU (one of two in Idaho), and the only Burn Center in the state of Idaho.

We have the region’s only Pediatric Intensive Care Unit for critically ill children. Our 74‑bed Behavioral Health Center offers inpatient and outpatient mental health care for adolescents and adults.
